O fundador do Ibrawork, Thomas Law, e sua esposa, Ana, compareceram à recepção da Clinton Global Initiative (CGI) na cidade de Nova York, nesta segunda-feira (23).
Na ocasião, Thomas representou a Ordem dos Advogados do Brasil, seção São Paulo (OAB/SP) e a AMPPESP – Associação de Municípios de Pequeno Porte do Estado de São Paulo.
“A CGI é uma organização que ajuda a definir a agenda anual de desenvolvimento internacional desde 2005 e provou que os maiores desafios globais podem ser resolvidos por meio da comunidade, colaboração e comprometimento. Foi uma alegria estar com o presidente Bill Clinton, a secretária Hillary Clinton e a Dra. Chelsea Clinton”, disse Thomas.
O convite ao fundador do Ibrawork foi feito por Gregg Milne, CEO da CGI; Jon Davidson, chefe de gabinete do presidente Clinton; e Maggie Biringer, diretora de comunidade da CGI; Samuel Montana e Douglas Smith.
“Quando indivíduos com ideias semelhantes se reúnem, sua paixão coletiva e visão compartilhada podem impulsionar esforços globais notáveis. Ao reunir suas diversas habilidades, recursos e perspectivas, eles podem enfrentar desafios complexos como mudanças climáticas, pobreza e desigualdade de forma mais eficaz. Essas colaborações podem transcender fronteiras, unindo pessoas de diferentes culturas e origens em uma causa comum”, acrescentou Thomas. Ele disse ainda que Ibrawork, OAB/SP e AMPPESP estão ansiosos para se tornarem parceiros e sediar a CGI no Brasil.

On the occasion, Thomas represented the Brazilian Bar Association – Sao Paulo (OAB/SP) and AMPPESP – Association of Small Municipalities of the State of Sao Paulo.
“CGI is an organization that since 2005 has helped set the annual international development agenda and has proven that the biggest global challenges can be solved through community, collaboration, and a commitment to action. It was a joy to be with President Bill Clinton, Secretary Hillary Clinton and Dr. Chelsea Clinton”, said Thomas.
The invitation to the Ibrawork founder was extended by Gregory Milne, CEO of CGI; Jon Davidson, President Clinton’s Chief of Staff; Maggie B., CGI Director of Community Growth and Engagement; Samuel Montana and Douglas A. Smith.
“When like-minded individuals come together, their collective passion and shared vision can drive remarkable global efforts. By pooling their diverse skills, resources, and perspectives, they can tackle complex challenges such as climate change, poverty, and inequality more effectively.
